Everything you need to know about Stack Ritual.
Yes — Stack Ritual has a free plan that lets you add up to 5 supplements and access the core features including the research library, stack builder, and print summary. Upgrade to Plus ($4.99/mo) or Pro ($9.99/mo) for unlimited supplements and additional features.
Once added, Stack Ritual opens full-screen like a native app — no browser bar visible.
Yes — a free account is required to save your stack and access your data across devices. Sign up takes about 60 seconds and only requires your name and email.
Stack Ritual is a web app that works great on mobile browsers. You can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience (see instructions above). A native iOS and Android app is on our roadmap.
Free includes up to 5 supplements, basic research, and the print summary. Plus ($4.99/mo) adds unlimited supplements, the full research library, email reminders, weekly summaries, and AI stack analysis. Pro ($9.99/mo) adds everything in Plus plus SMS text reminders with click-to-mark-done links.
Your account stays active until the end of your current billing period. After that it downgrades to the Free plan — your data is preserved, but you'll be limited to 5 active supplements. You can resubscribe at any time.
We don't offer refunds for partial subscription periods. If you have a billing issue or concern, contact us at support@stackritual.com and we'll do our best to help.
Monthly billing is available now. Annual billing with a discount is on our roadmap — follow us on social media or check back for updates when it launches.
Pro subscribers can enable SMS reminders from Profile → SMS Reminders. Toggle on, enter your US mobile number, check the consent box, and save. You'll receive a one-time confirmation text — reply YES to start receiving reminders. Reminders fire at the times you configure for the morning, afternoon, evening, and bedtime windows.
Yes. Each daily window (morning, afternoon, evening, bedtime) has its own toggle in Profile → SMS Reminders. Turn off the windows you don't want — for example, leave just morning on if you only want one text a day.
Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or CANCEL to any text from Stack Ritual. You'll receive a final confirmation and no further messages. To re-subscribe later, reply START from the same number, or re-enable SMS reminders from Profile → SMS Reminders.
Same idea, different channel. Both fire at the times you choose and include a tap-to-complete link that marks your whole slot done in one click. Email reminders are available on Plus and Pro; SMS reminders are Pro-only and require an explicit double opt-in (consent box plus a YES reply to the confirmation text).

When you add a supplement, you choose when to take it (morning fasted, with food, afternoon, evening, bedtime, etc.). Stack Ritual organizes your daily view by these time slots. For supplements you take multiple times per day, each dose gets its own slot and checkoff.
Yes! The Print Summary feature (accessible from the Today page or My Stack) generates a clean, one-page PDF showing everything you take, your doses, timing, and the purpose of each supplement. It's designed specifically to share with healthcare providers.
Stack Ritual is designed for supplements and wellness rituals. You can add medications as custom items using the 'Add supplement or ritual' feature. However, Stack Ritual does not provide medication information, interaction warnings, or medical advice for prescription drugs. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist for medication guidance.
Rituals are non-supplement wellness practices you want to track consistently — things like cold showers, sauna sessions, red light therapy, intermittent fasting, or any other daily health practice. They appear on your Today dashboard alongside your supplements.
Yes! The Mood & Wellness Report (accessible from the History page or your Profile) shows your average daily mood, trends over time, and — most valuably — how your mood compares on days you complete your stack vs. days you don't.
Yes! Plus and Pro members can use AI Stack Analysis to get an at-a-glance breakdown of your current stack across five sections: Synergies (what works well together), Interactions (what may reduce absorption or shouldn't be taken together), Timing (when to move things to a different time of day for better effect), Redundancies (multiple items doing the same thing), and Recommended additions (gaps worth considering). Tap the ✨ Analyze my stack card on the My Stack page to run it. The first time you use it, you'll be asked to acknowledge that the analysis is informational, not medical advice.
When you change your stack — adding, removing, or editing a supplement — your next analysis is free and refreshes automatically. If your stack hasn't changed and you just want a fresh look, you can manually re-run the analysis up to 3 times per day. The card on the My Stack page tells you when you last analyzed and whether anything has changed since.
No. The AI Stack Analysis is informational only and is intentionally written to hedge — it points out interactions, synergies, and timing tweaks that are well-supported by research, but it can't replace a conversation with your doctor or pharmacist. Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider before adding, removing, or changing a supplement based on the analysis.
Yes! Pro subscribers can use the Scan Label feature (📷) to take a photo of any supplement bottle with their phone camera. AI reads the label and automatically fills in the product name, brand, dose per serving, serving size, and total quantity count. If the product matches our supplement database, it's linked automatically. For multi-ingredient products like multivitamins or greens powders, you can choose to add it as a single item or break it out into individual supplements. The scan feature is also available when editing an existing stack item — handy for updating dose, brand, or inventory count when you open a new bottle.
For best results, take the photo in good lighting with the supplement facts panel clearly visible and filling most of the frame. If confidence is low, the app will warn you to review the fields before saving. You can always edit any pre-filled value before adding the supplement to your stack.
Our supplement database is researched and written based on peer-reviewed scientific literature, including data from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and clinical studies. Each supplement includes an evidence level rating (Strong, Moderate, or Limited) to help you understand how well-studied it is.
You can add any supplement or ritual not in our database using the 'Add supplement or ritual' button on the My Stack or Research pages. Submissions are reviewed and may be added to the main database for all users.
